Salary: £20,000 per annum
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
The successful candidate will assist with administration, business and development of the Scottish Arbitration Centre in Edinburgh, working on the delivery of various projects, and manage the administration of the Convener of the School Closure Review Panels. This will include managing the administrative assistant.
Candidates will possess a degree, have highly developed oral and written skills and be able to understand and explain complex issues clearly and precisely. They should have administrative and financial management experience and excellent administrative, numeracy and presentation skills. They should have the ability to manage a busy and diverse workload, deal with accounts and budgets, and have good organisational and record-keeping skills. A knowledge of dispute resolution methods and legal systems is desirable. Candidates must have a high overall standard of computer literacy including an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience of website development, WordPress and MailChimp is also desirable.
This position is full time, 35 hours per week, commencing on or around 14 March 2017.
